Questions
Does TworkX design temporary works?
No. TworkX prepares the design brief. The design and the design check are done by your temporary works designer and checker.
Which standards does it use?
Briefs cite the Australian Standards, state specifications and industry guidance that apply to the works, by reference. TworkX does not reproduce standards.
Do I need my own copies of the standards?
Yes, for any values you take from them, such as ground parameters. TworkX ships no typical values.
Where is my data stored?
The application and its database are hosted in Sydney. Payments, email and AI explanations use services that may process data overseas; they are listed on the Security page.
How does TworkX use AI?
AI explains each question in plain language, and, where your company switches it on, reads the pages of a geotechnical report or drawings you choose to send, into a brief or your project's site data, and proposes the values they state, and the answers to the brief's questions they state, for you to check. It never decides whether a design is adequate, never produces numbers to build from, and never enters an answer or a value without your confirmation. Nothing else from your projects is sent. Can I put my company logo on the brief?
Yes. Set it once in Settings and it appears on every brief.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time from your account. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
Do you offer commercial plans?
